Clinical Documentation Improvement Trust Builder Award Winner
Melissa Maguire

Trust Builder award winner Melissa Maguire was nominated by CDI Manager Deanne Wilk. “She (Melissa) is a team player and mentors the staff to build strong relationships not only with each other but providers, ancillary staff, and other departments,” stated Wilk. Deanne’s nomination of Melissa as our Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Trust Builder included details about her tireless efforts to encourage and improve programs in CDI, Coding Roundtables, and Provider division meetings.
Melissa has a degree in Nursing and Certification in Nursing Informatics. She has been a past presenter at both local and the National ACDIS Conference, she has also written publication for ACDIS.
Melissa has chosen the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to receive her $2,500 Trust Builder Award charitable donation.

Virginia (Ginna) Evans

In the Health Information Management (HIM) category, Virginia (Ginna) Evans was nominated by Janyce House, President of the Georgia Health Information Management Association (GHIMA). According to House, Ginna has served as the past GHIMA president, is secretary of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and works with physicians on workflow, processes, and documentation. She has worked across all departments developing revenue cycle processes.
Ginna is also the 2018-2019 AHIMA President Elect. Congratulations, Ginna!
Ginna has chosen the AHIMA Foundation and HOI, Inc. (Honduras Outreach International) to receive her $2,500 Trust Builder Award charitable donation.
Health Information Management Trust Builder Award Winner
DaNece Fickett

The nomination group had a hard time deciding two of the three most deserving nominees, therefore TrustHCS opted to have a third Trust Builder Award recipient this year. DaNece Fickett was nominated by Lexie Stephens, Director of Quality and Risk for Davis Hospital and Medical Center. “DaNece visits each patient the day of or the day after their surgery to follow-up with them about their procedure and how they are feeling. She takes patient care to the highest level and sets the example for other nurses,” stated Stephens. DaNece possesses skills and an attitude that exemplify those of our other Trust builder Award winners and makes it a point to leave everybody she is involved with feeling like they were helped.
